Unity has made an official announcement regarding the full support of Apple Vision Pro's visionOS in its real-time 3D engine. This means that Unity Pro, Enterprise, and Industry subscribers can now take advantage of the engine's authoring workflows, built-in XR tools, and cross-platform compatibility to create immersive AR/VR experiences for Apple's latest headset.

As per the company's statement, Unity offers comprehensive support for visionOS. This includes a wide range of templates, samples, and resources that empower developers to build captivating mixed-reality games and apps using Unity's cutting-edge PolySpatial technology. With the recent addition of support for visionOS, users now have the ability to create three primary types of spatial experiences:

Immersive mixed reality experiences that seamlessly combine digital content with the real world and can seamlessly run alongside other apps in the Shared Space.
Virtual reality games can be transformed into immersive experiences that transport players to different environments.
Content that can be resized and repositioned by the user in the Shared Space, providing a professional and user-friendly experience.
Before being made widely available, Unity's support for visionOS was initially in beta for a specific group of developers from different industries.
Unity's wide-ranging support for visionOS extends beyond the video game industry to include sectors like wellness and automotive.
